To enrol onto the level 4 course, you must be at least 18 and have a full secondary education. Before enrolling onto the level 5 course, you must have attained a level 4 or equivalent.

Communicating in Health and Social Care:

Enhance awareness of various communication forms in health and social care, emphasising their significance in delivering effective services.

Introduction to Healthcare Policy:

Explore the influences on healthcare and their impact on policy development. Evaluate healthcare policy, focusing on contemporary issues for policymakers, providers, and recipients of support.

Reflective Practice:

Introduce reflective practice in its various forms, emphasising its importance in health and social care. Connect theory to practice through reflective exercises.

Managing People in Health and Social Care:

Understand recruitment, management, and development processes in health and social care workplaces. Investigate individual management and organisational change facilitation.

Sociology: Concepts in Health and Ill Health:

Gain insight into sociological concepts of health and ill health, applying them to health and social care practice. Explore societal structures, including age, gender, ethnicity, social class, family, households, and their impact on health and well-being.

The Qualifi level 4/5 diploma in health and social care has 6 written assignments at level 4 and 5 written assignments at level 5. The assignments are approximately 2,000-3,000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.
