About the course
Our Level 3 University Foundation Programme in Management offers a 60-credit qualification, equivalent to one A-level. Ideal for students seeking university entry or aiming to enhance their management skills for career advancement. Suited for team leaders aspiring to move up and those with prior Level 2 or 3 business studies.
This diploma broadens junior managers’ knowledge, emphasizing workplace-specific management areas. Effective leadership and management training are essential, especially in fast-paced, high-tech industries. Communication, inspiration, and leadership skills are critical for achieving organizational success.
The program comprises 6 modules and 6 written assignments, with each module involving approximately 40 guided learning hours. Students gain access to valuable study resources, including tutor support, webinars, a social learning forum, and supplementary materials.
Upon completion, students receive a ‘Qualifi Level 3 Diploma in Introduction to Management,’ fully regulated by Ofqual. Graduates can apply for admission to various UK universities’ undergraduate degree programs or choose our Level 4/5 Diploma in Management followed by an undergraduate top-up option.

Am I eligible for this progamme?
This course is most suited to individuals who are at least 16 years old, have a high school education and wish to progress onto a degree at university, or the undergraduate level 4/5 diploma in business management with London Academy of Business and Management.

An introduction to finance
This unit introduces learners to practical accounting and financial reporting techniques used by managers in business organisations.
An introduction to leadership skills
The aim of this unit is to provide the learner with an introduction to leadership skills, and how they can be identified and developed, and to show the importance of providing motivation for others.
Managing business operations
The aim of this unit is to introduce learners to key aspects of all businesses and how they operate within the wider business environment, as well as internally. Operational control and the provision of best practice and sound policy will be shown to facilitate organisational excellence.
Organisational culture
To understand aspects of an organisation’s culture and their effects on its activities and its management, as well as the significance of an ethical business approach.
Working in teams
To understand the role played by teams within organisations and how the human elements interact. The unit also examines the value of team and group working, and how these are formed and work together.
Workplace welfare
To understand that workforce welfare ensures that everybody employed within the organisation is valued and that there are benefits to be gained from being part of the organisation.
Assignments listing
The level 3 diploma in business has 6 written assignments. The assignments are approximately 2,000-3,000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.
